On this mild sunny day, we pulled back the black plastic with the first day of spring arriving and started working the raised row beds for planting. The black plastic protected the beds from the heavy rains and kept weeds from growing all through the winter. The last frost dates are just a couple of days behind us; however, we had snow in April last season. The greenhouse is full of early spring vegetables awaiting to go into the ground. Over the next couple of days, we will start transplanting the plants from the greenhouse into the garden.
