Pole Beans Replace Snow Peas

Zone: 8a – suburbs
(video has audio)

We planted our snow peas in the early spring when the temperatures were in the mid-40 degrees. With temperatures now in the upper 70s, the snow peas are developing tougher shoots and pods and slower growth.

Slowly giving way to the pole beans, we will soon pull the snow peas up and discard them in the burn barrel.

As the temperature rises between 65 to 85 degrees, the pole beans will take over this section of our garden.
