Planting out‘ is some of the jargon used by gardeners that means to take a young plant that is growing in a container and transplant the plant in the ground to grow. We spent most of the morning planting out the leafy vegetables.

This spring crop of leafy vegetables will be ready for harvesting by the end of April.
